Microjump
(aka Short Hops)
This is a "short hop" through Space or Time,
usually less then a few hundred miles or a decade through time. Microjumps through space are usually achieved by disconnecting the Time Element to prevent any temporal drift. Due to the Blinovitch Limitation Effect
they are difficult to perform accurately and even more difficult to accurately reverse.
Performing several micro-jumps in a row causes a build-up of residual Artron energy, which makes a TARDIS easier to track.
