Born a human in the 1980s on Earth, taken by [[The Doctor]] on adventures around the universe in his TARDIS.  Trying to negotiate a peace on planet Sentine, she is capture by the Canisions lead by [[The General]], but before she is interrogated, [[Casmus]] rescues her and takes her to meet other Time Lords and train her in their ways, turning her into a Time Lord.
